	Couple works with builder principal for River North condo The Chicago Sun Times 11/04/2001 John and Kathleen Pontius decided to sell their town house in the DePaul neighborhood and buy a condo at Sunne on Wells in the River North area. The couple searched extensively for a condo which would meet all their requirements. They wanted a one-level condo in an elevator building right in the heart of the city. They wanted to have the opportunity to customize too. "It's perfect," said Kathleen. "We've been very spoiled by Chicago. Everything we love to do is downtown: the theater, museums and opera." They chose a 2,400-square-foot unit, with 2 bedrooms. They opted for customized kitchen cabinets and a pantry in the kitchen as well as an adjustable multi-head shower unit in the master bath. The couple worked directly with Thomas Roszak, principal of Roszak/ADC, the builder. "Usually, you don't see the developer again after you buy the property," said Kathleen. "Because Tom was also the architect, he knew what could, or could not be done. So we always got a quick answer to our requests. He was also very good about helping us make decisions." Ten units are planned at the mid-rise. "Each unit is centered around an atrium - which illuminates the building interior and adds natural light to all the rooms," said Roszak. Base prices range from $699,000 to $1.5 million. Units have 2 or 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Sizes range from 2,400 to 4,100 square feet. Two heated parking spaces are included for each unit.
