Sienna: The Philosophy Behind the Design

Sienna is a "community within a community" that combines the elegance of the northern suburbs with a convenient location.
Designing a multifamily development to fit the surrounding neighborhood is one of the cornerstones of Roszak/ADC's philosophy. In order to achieve this, president and chief architect Thomas Roszak studies the site before a single sketch is drawn up and uses the physical parameters to dictate the project's overall size and layout.
The large amounts of natural green space are obvious upon entering Sienna's own "micro-neighborhood."
Residents are greeted with lush gardens mixed with the clean lines of the sienna-colored brick buildings. 3-acres of landscaping are flanked by four mid-rise condominium buildings and 17 town-homes, creating a secluded sanctuary that's a peaceful and quiet diversion from city life.
The integration of a French Allée, or walkway, is the dominant feature in the project's landscaped center. A water-themed design runs perpendicularly to the Allée and integrates an all-glass pool house, a water wall, terraced seating areas and a dazzling jumping jet fountain. Stone pavers form an aqua-colored walkway that connects these elements together.
